Joan of Arc oratorio.

I am lucky to have received a Developing Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England. This will give me time to develop vocal writing, explore libretto, working with larger forces, all towards writing a large-scale oratorio (soloists, choir and chamber orchestra) about Joan of Arc for mezzo soprano Helen Charlston and Britten Sinfonia.

The grant will also allow me to work with librettists, workshop ides with musicians and receive feedback from other composers.
