Your Fat Friend wins Audience Award

After sell-out screenings at The Crucible and The Light, Your Fat Friend received Sheffield Doc Fest’s Audience Award on Monday!

I was so glad I got to attend the film’s International Premiere at the Crucible last Thursday, where there was such a great atmosphere. Jeanie introduced the film, also giving a moving tribute to her great friend Tom, who featured in her film Sound it Out, and there followed a Q+A with Aubrey Gordon, the film’s subject and Jeanie, compered by Joan Parsons.

I had a great time in Sheffield, watching films and hanging out with friends old and new . Your Fat Friend had such a great response from audiences, it will be exciting to see what happens next with the film.
